7th May ·Jain Irrigation, University of Nebraska to Boost Sustainable Food Production
The newfound partnership will focus on research in water science and technology, policy and education, to develop agriculture globally, especially in regions such as India and Africa.
8th May · Beef Products to Close Three Plants in US Over Pink Slime Controversy
The company will close its plants in TX, KS, and IA on May 25th; however, its plant in South Sioux City, Nebraska will continue to run at reduced capacity.
9th May · Kemin Launches Microbial to Control Listeria monocytogenes
The Iowa based company has launched BactoCEASE — a propionic acid-based antimicrobial designed to protect Ready-to-Eat (RTE) products from Listeria monocytogenes.
